MIT University of Meghalaya was filled with energy during the Jovan University Fest, a week-long celebration aimed at promoting social well-being, teamwork, physical fitness, and showcasing diverse talents. The festivities commenced on March 18, 2024, marking the beginning of a series of activities to showcase their talents and articulate their thoughts including Extempore speeches and Debates, centred around the theme of “Cross Culture and Tradition” celebrating the rich tapestry of their cultures.

On the morning of June 21, 2023, amidst torrential rains, MIT University demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the practice of yoga by gathering its students and staff to celebrate International Yoga Day. Leading the special occasion was renowned Yogacharya, Hemant Kumar Rai, who spoke about the significance of yoga and its numerous benefits to our health and well-being. This year marked the 9th International Yoga Day, with the theme “One Earth, One Family, One Future.”
